On the base of Turkic historical sources and personal experiences of the lecturer - gained through various travels along the Silk roads - the audience will be conducted into a culinary journey through steppes, deserts, caravansaries, palaces and modern gourmet restaurants, in order to understand the diverse dimensions that characterize the multi-layered and exquisitely variegated Azerbaijanian cuisine.
