An expert from Ca' Foscari University, will held a seminar which will aim to explain how to promote the made in Italy and its territories in the Azerbaijani market. Italian agrifood specialties have been exported extensively in a variety of countries. International demand for Italian typical products grew in the past two years, despite turbulent market conditions: the Italian agrifood export reached 53 billion Euros in 2021 (an all-time high). Situated at the intersection between product quality, know-how, terroirs and culture, the value of Italian products requires adequate promotional strategies, especially when establishing relationships with countries whose histories, cultures and traditions require to create a common ground and require empathy. The masterclass will explore the different strategies through which Italian food and wine have been promoted in different countries and will deal with the opportunities and challenges posed by Azerbaijan.
